Dan started drawing at the ripe old age of 40. After attending his first Comic Convention (Toronto Fan Expo) in 2012, he decided that after touring the Artist Alley section of the show, art would become his new passion.

Since that time, Dan has penciled independent comics for Zelpha Comics, Jailbird Comics, and did an original exclusive Captain Canuck cover for the 2015 London Comic Con.

Dan has also provided artwork for the children's books Bea Love, Capybara Princess and Petalianne.

Dan has also provided artwork and designs for two album covers, a novel cover, movie poster, t-shirts and much more. Dan is also the editorial cartoonist for the Wellington Advertiser.
